Create an inspiring, high-performance fitness space within a non-utilized room of a Manhattan townhouse. The gym needed to promote both physical activity and mental wellness while maintaining an aesthetic that complements the townhouse's refined, urban charm. The goal was to blend function and design seamlessly, providing the owner with a private oasis for fitness within the fast-paced environment of New York City.
The challenge was to transform a compact, underused room into a versatile fitness space that would feel open and inviting. The room needed to accommodate high-performance equipment, promote movement, and offer mental clarity—all within the constraints of a small footprint. Additionally, the design had to match the townhouse’s sophisticated style without clutter or disruption to its overall flow.
