Design an open, airy fitness center that reflects Gurney’s luxurious coastal brand and incorporates the natural beauty of its surroundings.
Gurney’s Resorts sought to enhance its guest experience by upgrading its fitness facility to match the resort's serene, oceanfront environment. The space needed to feel light and open while maintaining functionality, blending seamlessly with the natural tones and textures of the surrounding landscape. Additionally, the equipment had to align with the resort’s high-end brand standards, ensuring a bespoke look and feel.
To achieve Gurney’s vision of an open, natural space, we designed gym equipment using clear-coated steel frames, giving the room an airy, spacious aesthetic. The custom Italian leather upholstery with Bentley stitching added a luxurious touch, ensuring both comfort and durability. We took personalization further by designing and manufacturing the dumbbells and urethane plates, incorporating Gurney’s logo and signature fonts directly onto the equipment for a seamless brand experience. Light tones were emphasized throughout the gym to complement the resort’s coastal setting, creating a cohesive and tranquil atmosphere.
